    In detail

The restaurant combines the home cooking of Russia and countries of the Near East, and new directions that bring together the cuisines of Asian countries and pan-Asian cuisine that is slightly adapted for Europeans.

The establishment includes a café and restaurant occupying an area of 220 square metres. They are visually partitioned by an open kitchen with a coal grill and open fire, designed on all sides like a grocery counter of fish, meat, vegetables, dried fruits, and a large glass case with a multitude of various desserts.

The menu offers dishes from Georgian cuisine (khachapuri, red lobio, chicken satsivi), Uzbek cuisine (lagman, manty dumplings, cheburek pastries), Russian cuisine (pickled fish on toast made from Borodino bread, crab cutlets, beef stroganoff with mashed potato), and pan-Asian cuisine (chicken tom yam, Japanese edamame beans, beef/tuna tataki).

The prominent name of the establishment is due to its historical location: the restaurant is surrounded by Moscow’s architectural monuments, such as the Red Square ensemble, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the State Duma.
