In detail

Kompozitor Restaurant is located at the corner of Tverskaya Street and Mokhovaya Street, on the first floor of Hotel National. The restaurant’s founder Arkadiy Levin is famous for his projects Taliesin, El Gaucho and Giovedi.

The interior of the establishment is completed in art-deco style. Here there is a huge panorama window with a view of the Kremlin and the Historic Museum, and even the working stove from the 18th century. Passing through the small café area and the main hall, you will enter the “composer’s” hall, decorated with portraits of fourteen Russian composers. The hall is suitable for banquets, has a separate entrance from Tverskaya Street, and can if necessary be isolated from the remaining areas. A small office is also located here.

Seasonal produce plays one of the key roles on the menu, supplied to the kitchen of Kompozitor from various corners of the world. Cucumbers for the restaurant are grown in Lukhovitsy farms, grapes are supplied from Vladimir, saffron milk cap mushrooms from Kargopol, geese of a rare curly breed from Kholmogory, white partridge from Taymyr, muksun from the waters of the Northern Yenisey, and omul from Yamal. Ducks, rabbits and quail are specially bred for the restaurant on a private farm in Vladimir region.
