A walk along Chekhov’s Moscow

A walk along Moscow monuments reflected in the life and works of ingenious Anton Chekhov is a vivid illustration of the brightest biography of the famous playwright. Moscow of the end of the XIX — the beginning of the XX century was depictured in many masterpieces of the writer: “Three Years”, “The Lady with the Dog”, etc. A walk along Chekhov’s places is a wonderful chance to get acquainted with many monuments of art and sights, which are inseparably connected with Chekhov’s life and work. You will walk along Malaya Dmitrovka and Trubnaya Square, where Chekhov lived, worked and also came to visit his mother and sister Maria. You will look at famous “Muir & Mirrielees” merchant venture, where Anton Pavlovich regularly did his shopping. You will also see the legendary Moscow Art Theatre still staging his best works: “The Cherry Orchard”, “The Seagull”, etc. You will learn, in what theater the performance based on “Ivanov” play was staged for the first time, in what hospital Anton Pavlovich worked in the position of a medical assistant and in what house the ingenuous
