Where to walk your dog in Moscow: parks and training grounds

Parks where you can walk the dog without breaking the law.

Gorky Park: For owners of large dogs, it is not recommended to walk the dog off leash. Do not forget to take dog waste bags. Open around the clock. Admission is free.

Krasnaya Presnya Park: Just one slight hitch: there are a lot of dogs without muzzles, so if your dog is unfriendly, you must have a leash and a muzzle for him. Open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.

Sokolniki Park: Dog breeders club, which organizes dog shows and competitions, operates on the grounds of the park. Open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is free.

Chapaevsky Park (Aviators’ Park): Dogs are very fond of this park for the opportunity to chase squirrels, which can always be found there. There is also a special dog walking area. Open around the clock. Admission is free.

Izmailovsky Park: Dogs are officially allowed at the park, but they should be on a leash and wearing a muzzle. Open around the clock. Admission is free.
