Free classical music


Russian culture has always been famous for its musical traditions. Nowadays for Muscovites and Moscow tourists the places where they can enjoy the classical compositions of Russian and foreign authors are free to go.


The Conservatory named after P.I. Chaikovskiy (13/6 Bolshaya Nikitskaya st). In the Rahmaninskiy and Maliy halls of the Moscow conservatory you can enjoy the chores and the chamber ensemble. The doors are opened on the days of International festivals of organ, violin, percussion and wind-instruments. Weekends and holidays are not an exception.

The apartments of M.Bulgakov (10, Bolshaya Sadovaya st)

Mikhail Vasilievich Bulgakov was fond of music. That is why it always sounds in his flat. There are classical melodies of XIX-XX centuries, the works of the world composers and the simple music of the begging of the century, music which is marked on the pages of his books. Invited musicians play the piano which belonged to Bulgakov.



Moscow Central Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists (3, Maliy Trehsvaytitelskiy lane)

On the last Sunday of every month free concerts of organ music are held. A unique tool that is installed in the temple, has 38 registers. Works by Handel, Bach, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky are played.

The Music Academy has positioned itself as an active promoter of classical works. Everyone is invited to evenings of song and student concerts. In the halls of institutions free performances by famous artists are held. The doors are opened for evening concert programmes during the entire week.
