Summer in Moscow: Life with children

In summer, kindergartens and schools are closed for the holidays. Woe to those parents who don’t have a summer cottage, a nanny or a house by the sea. Instead, various camps for children open in the city providing interesting activities, delicious food and walks.

"Citykids" is a camp of the centre which focuses primarily on infants and pre-schoolers. What they do: the action takes place in the Bauman Garden. Kids from 1.5 to 3 years of age potter about the local garden, play with modelling clay, paint T-shirts. Children from 3 to 6 years of age study world culture from Asia to Africa. Website:

"Letuchka" is a summer project of "Mamin Sadik" studio sponsored by "Seasons". What they do: children make a magazine about summer entertainment without using a computer: learn to draw, decorate, write comics and illustrate. Apart from that, they arrange picnics and play in the park. Website:
